MATCHED WITH TORRES SAN VALENTIN
Created by Miguel Torres Carbó as a gift to his wife, Margarita Riera, on Saint Valentine's Day. The Parellada grape, the best traditional white variety found in our highest vineyards, produces fruity, aromatic wines with moderate alcoholic strength, such as San Valentín.

Tasting Note
Pale yellow. Seductive with delicate floral (acacia honey) and fruit (citrus) notes. Smooth palate with an exquisitely silky texture.

MATCHED WITH TORRES VIÑA ESMERALDA

In the mountainous area of the Upper Penedès the more delicate and aromatic white grape varieties are grown. Moscatel and Gewürtztraminer form the basis for Viña Esmeralda, an exceptionally delicate and strikingly fragrant wine.

Tasting Note

Brilliant pale straw yellow. Fragrant, floral (orange blossom), with delicate nuances of exotic fruit (cherimoya) and a note of apple jam. Smooth and exquisitely luscious on the palate, leaving a subtle honeyed trace.

MATCHED WITH TORRES IBERICOS RIOJA

Altos Ibéricos takes its name from Alto Otero, a beautiful place where the winery is situated in the town of Labastida, north of the Iberian Peninsula. This noble wine from the Torres family, made with the tempranillo varietal, is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and for a long time in the bottle.

Tasting Note

Opaque cherry red. Rich fruit aromas (cherry, black plum jam) with spicy (green peppercorn) and smoky notes. Intense, warm, with firm tannins nicely structured by oak aging and a backbone of subtle fruit acidity.

MATCHED WITH TORRES GRAN CORONAS

Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo are the grapes that bestow their nobility on Gran Coronas, a wine of a deep red hue, with ochre and brick-red touches from its ageing.

This arose from the innovative drive of Miguel A. Torres, who planted the French variety of Cabernet Sauvignon in the Penedès at the end of the 1960s and early 1970s, when normal practice was to plant local white varieties. Thanks to this, Gran Coronas has become a benchmark for reserva red wines.

Tasting Note

Opaque, dark cherry red wine. Intensely fruity (blueberries, blackberries) with delicately spicy (juniper) and balsamic notes. Warm on the palate with velvety tannins nicely rounded by oak aging.

Crema catalana

MATCHED WITH TORRES FLORALIS MOSCATEL D’ORO
The Greeks called it "Anathelicon Moschaton" and the Romans "Apianae", because it attracts the bees that, from the Muscat flowers, make the delicious nectar of their honey.
Tasting Note
Muscat has an unmistakable aromatic perspective that is highly characteristic of its variety, with seductive floral perfumes (rose, geranium, lemon verbena). On the mouth it is voluptuous, concentrated yet light, full and with a delicate sensuality.
